There is a great new restaurant that is soon to open in Cambridge, Buffalo Wild Wings! I look forward to cleaning the windows there once it opens. I have been cleaning the Bw3 in Zanesville for many years now (in behalf of Dave’s Professional Window Cleaning). I have had a great relationship with Buffalo Wild Wings throughout the years and look forward to cleaning the windows at their locations for many years to come.
I have been cleaning the windows at this office for a few years now and they have been really nice to work with. I clean all the exterior glass once a month as well as the inside of the front door/entry way. I clean the 2nd floor windows as well. I am able to reach high areas using a ladder. I also have poles that extend up to 24′ long, so I can reach some 3 story buildings and homes as well. Stubbins Watson and Bryan, L.P.A. is located in downtown Zanesville. I have quite a few window cleaning clients in the downtown area as well as the rest of Zanesville, both commercial and residential.
I have started to wash the windows at the Sherwin-Williams store on Main St. in Newark. They had not been cleaned by anyone in a long time, but now they want me to do the window cleaning once a month. The first time I did the cleaning I had to get rid of a lot of tape and sticker residue, which can be done in a few different ways. You can use a razor blade or scrub pads or heavy duty cleaner/chemicals. For this job I was able to use a new razor blade and clean off the residue easily. However, a razor blade can scratch some glass so it should not be use in all situations. If you do choose to use a razor blade to clean glass please make sure that it is a new blade. Old blades are dull and can get nicks and tiny bends in the blade and that can cause it to scratch the glass. Also, always wet the glass first before using the razor blade to help it glide across the surface. I found a nice little video on Ehow.com about the proper way to use a razor to clean glass. You can watch it by clicking here. If you get your paint and paint supplies from Sherwin-Williams let them know how the windows look.
Here is a house just south of Granville. It was a new construction window cleaning job. It was built by Ghiloni Custom Builders. This home had a lot of tall windows and much of the cleaning work was 2nd and 3rd story. I was able to reach this high glass using ladders and poles. It was nice cleaning the inside windows before the home owners had moved it so I didn’t have to work around couches and dressers and other things. Dawn, who works with Ghiloni, cleans the houses after construction is finished. Dawn had contacted me about cleaning the windows for her, especially the high windows, while she focused on the rest of the house. It was better for her to pay me to clean the windows rather than spend all the time and effort to clean them herself. In fact, that is why I get a lot of calls to clean windows. Its not that hard of a job if you know how to do it. But if you don’t have the time and know how than it is worth it just to have a professional do it and be done with it. So if you have high hard to get to dirty windows then contact me for a free estimate.
